Many times after weight loss surgery, there are complications that occur in the body, making revised weight loss surgery necessary to resolve these complications. These issues can be due to several things such as an anatomy change after the surgery, medical complications resulting from the surgery, and unresolved conditions and diseases. These issues can affect your ability to lose weight, and sometimes make you gain back the weight you lost over time.
Our Doctors are specially trained to identify these issues and will revise your surgery to help you lose weight and resolve any failed procedures. We’ve fixed countless weight-loss surgeries, and have the experience to make your procedures work.

Post-bariatric surgery is a very important part of rehabilitation and success. Follow up surgeries are typically performed about 12 to 18 months after surgery, when the patient has adapted to lifestyle changes, and weight loss has slowed down or even begin to reverse.
In adjustable gastric band surgery, the surgeon places a ring with an inner inflatable band around the top of your stomach. This creates a smaller stomach pouch by which eating a small amount of food will satisfy hunger, limiting the amount of calories consumed. The band’s inner balloon is filled with a sterile saline solution. The surgeon can adjust the size of the opening from the pouch to the rest of your stomach by injecting or removing the solution through a small device, called a port, placed under your skin. Adjusting the size of the band opening requires several follow-up visits and is done gradually over time with repeated adjustments or “fills”.
